PPI: Tyrannical Law
SPI: Destructive Magics (Invocation/Evocation, Conjuration/Summoning)

Syth's fundamental core is control. A ruling tyrannical core that seeks to envelop others and convince them of the right way to do things. To this end, he encompasses a few other portfolios to push his dogma. Destructive magics being primary in these.

Syth is one of the three darker gods who control aspects of Magic. Praxin controls the school of Alteration, whilst Diadria controls Necromancy.

Evil rulers I'm not fond of, we shouldn't place such moral depictions in the PPI, SPI or Areas.

The rest I'm contemplating.

Hoarding is essentially collecting and keeping and collecting and keeping. Smiley

Maybe it would go better under Ajoetis.

Would the Goblin Slavers include clergy of Syth?... that would be cool.

Does worship of Syth tie Thardferrian followers of Syth to the Sythian Mages in any way?

Can Syth be portrayed as both Male and Female? That would also be cool.

Goblin Slavers are free to choose the deity of their desire. Syth might be more concerned with Slavery, but it's just an area he controls. Not a portfolio item.

No, that's a different branch of the faith. One could worship Syth in Thardferr without any knowledge or allegiances with the Sythian Mages.

Dunno about the Gender. Obviously the Sythian Mages are predominantly female so that would help there. But is the deity himself a female? I think of Syth as a male personally, I think another deity adds the feminine aspect to the Sythian Mages.

#1) I dislike any races or classes listed as aspects of any god. I think each race and class should be given a bit more flexibility. Whilst Aranthis might pull in the worship of music loving bards, other bards are storytellers and would follow Kaldinsky, whilst some bards are political spies and would favor Maldread. Goblins are much the same, I dislike the idea of confining them primarily to one deity.

#2) Taxation is a form of opression or dominance in my mind.

#3) Invocation is already covered in Destructive Magics (Invocation/Evocation)

#4) Summoners are already covered in Destructive Magics (Conjuration/Summoning)

#4) I'm not seeing where you are going with apartheid, can I get more explanation?

PPI: Tyranny
SPI: Destructive Magics, Opression, Domination
Areas: Slavery, Self-Serving Law, Terror

I'm really looking for another way to say Self-Serving Law. Syth is one of our major Lawful deities, but all laws that Syth imposes are beneficial first and foremost to himself. In any society structured around Syth, Laws would be seen as structure and organization to elevate those who deserve to rule and provide distinct lines between master and servant.

Terror falls along the lines of Law for Syth. His laws are obeyed, but they are obeyed because people fear the consequences of breaking them.

I am fishing for ideas, with my lists....

Some of Websters ideas for Self-serving = egocentric, egoistic, egomaniacal, egotistic, self-absorbed, self-centered, self-concerned, self-interested, self-seeking
