After everyone has received their profits from their previous ventures and the night has passed the morning sun shines pinkly against the clouds and eastern sky. kevin, Ingto, and Eilise are gathered in the garden where everyone has been summoned. They appear to be lost in their own conversation as Evelyn is the first to arrive. The others slowly trickling in at their own time and fashion.

Sometime after receiving the summons to the garden, a clanking of steel and creaking of leather can be heard from the hall leading out to the lush meeting place. Jereth comes into sight, fully armed and armored, moving slowly and on shaky legs, his perpetual scowl tinged with the concentration from great physical exertion. Footsteps thudding on the soft grass the hulking figure comes to a stop next to the red headed woman, huffing to catch his breath he says,

"I'd better be right in assuming we're to be away from this place and on our way, otherwise I'm gonna be really annoyed for going to the lengths of putting this stuff back on."

He looks over to the group of the old man's, still lost in conversation, and looks to Evelyn,

"Where's everyone else?"

Paks enters the garden shortly after Jereth, her and Joe had been watching the big warrior with growing amusement as he made his way over to Evelyn. The ranger takes a deep breath of fresh air and looks up at the morning sun, taking in the warmth it offers. Stopping a little short from the others, she leans on her staff and offers the group a smile, "Morning all" she says before she turns her head to survey the garden for a bit, seeming much more relaxed in the outdoor atmosphere.

Looking back at the group, the ranger directs her words to Kevin, "Am I going to be able to bring my horse on this journey?"

Slips into the garden and pulls his hood up to shelter his face from the sun. Silace was uncomfortable in the day being more accustomed to the darkness of the night. He looks on at Jereth from under his hood with amused look crossing his face in a flash. ~What an obscene amount of armor and noise~ he thought. Moving back into the shadows nearest the gathered group, "Too much light." he whispered barely audibly.

"Let's begin then shall we?"

Kevin looks over as paks addresses him turning his attention away from his conversation. "You may take him if you desire. Though I do not suspect you would need him nor would you want to take him where you are going. This journey is likely to take the lot of you into the bowels of a volcano."

Raising her eyebrows as she lets out a sigh, she simply shakes her head slightly, as though she knew this was going to happen. "Fine, he can stay here but he better be well looked after. Extremely well looked after," she says to the old man, all the while wondering if she would have time to say goodbye to her faithful steed and explain that she wasn't abandoning him, not really.

Evelyn stands there waiting for the others, just nodding stonefaced at Jereth after she looks him up and down, noting the weakness and unsteadiness but makes no comments, nor even a snide face as she has an idea of what might be causing his weakness. The woman doesn't bother to answer Jereth though as Paks and Joe enter. She does sneer slightly at the elf who makes no misunderstanding of his enjoyment of the shadows. A smile splits her face ear to ear as she hears they are going into a volcano.

Again that voice in her head breaks into her mirth, "You better not say a thing. We will not be experimenting with the magma and chances are high that if we fight a dragon, it will be of the red variety. Making you next to useless!"

Evelyn's grin becomes even wider before moving over to the others. "We should be underway Kevin. Are either of your...servants going to be joining us on this endeavor or do you have any further information for us?"

Kevin shakes his head. "No I have other matters that they will attend to while you are busy." He motions towards the two and each of them produce a small handful of small vials from the pouches they wore on their belts. Handing each person two except Evelyn who gets four Kevin explains as the vials are distributed. "Those should ward off any heat that you may come in contact with whilst in the Volcano. Each of them should last for about a day, maybe two. So I wouldn't use them to soon."

~We are going into the bowels of a live volcano? This shouldbe interesting never been underground other than the sewers beneath a city.~ Silace thought as he stepped forward to recieve the vials. After taking the vials and listening to their purpose he stood closer to the group. "We will be underground then? Should be interesting. This headpiece is probably sitting on some teetering rock surrounded by lava" he muttered.

Tucking the vials into her pack, the ranger notes that Evelyn is given four rather than the two everyone else is and makes a silent note of it. Leaning casually on her staff, she nods in agreement with Silace, "More than likely that will be the case, good thing we'll have a dexterous elf with us that I am sure will work out some way of getting it off."

"How close to this volcano are you transporting us?" she asks Kevin.

"You should be taken to acliff just outside an entrance to thevolcanoes tunnels." Kevin finishes motioning to stable containing a basket of fruit. "When you are ready take a bite and you will be taken there."

More volcanoes? the hulking warrior thinks to himself, this would be maybe his third experience inside or on the slopes of one of those explosive peaks. The giant sneers as he figures that only wizards would be foolish enough or have access to something so valuable that it was best protected by being entombed in a ticking time-bomb.

Tucking the two vials safely into a belt pouch, Jereth without any hesitation stalks pat the others and seizes one of the pieces of fruit, having long ago lost interest in the subtle quirks of magicians, and tears a great chunk out of the fruits flesh...

Silace chuckles softly at Paks's remark, "Indeed, it may turn out to be one of my greatest works of ingenuity." Moving forward, he picks up a fruit and asks, "One bite and whoosh I am there? Will I at least be able to finish it?" Without waiting for a reply Silace takes a bite.

"These vials will protect us from the heat, but will they protect our possessions from it? What I really want to know is, are those books you gave me likely to go up in flames from too much exposure to the heat?" the ranger asks Kevin, his answer would determine if she should leave them behind or not. Taking a couple pieces of fruit, she passes one to Joe as she waits for the old man to reply.

Kevin shakes his head. "No, I don't believe they should be heart by the fire, so long as you don't throw them into harms way that is. But one of them should prove useless after you've perused it anyway."

Joe nimbly catches the fruit from Paks and looks about to take a bite but decides to wait for her, just to make sure.
