Thardferr Strategy

Hey all,

I used to play on the strategy side, but it looks as if it's been long gone for a while.  Anybody on here that used to play the strategy game?

Yeah mate, in the earlier days, before it became huge alliances that the casual player was nothing but fodder to the machine, you remember, when it was fun and you actually had a chance of getting in the top 100 on your own merits.

I joined the boards again during the second last ever round, but got banned over an argument with Lady Darkness about this forum.  I tired to buy the .com address from them for this site when I saw GS had abandoned the strat game, needless to say my request was denied.  Oh well. 

It would be good to see the strat game revived, but in its earlier form without the huge alliances, if that were possible.

Well it seems that the domain expired two days ago on the 26.

Now if only we can contact Abakar or GS for the game code.... I wouldnt mind helping in restoring the game (hell ill buy the domain and get a server if we can get the code). Maybe someone will have a telephone to either Abakar or GS lurking around here. All my contacts via icq/aim/msn does not logon to those IMs anymore.

nope, just expired.  The site has been shut down for ages though.

Just to set peoples mind at ease, I have recently paid up the thardferr.info address for a few years. 

Unfortunately however some low life has parked thardferr.com so we can't make use of that address as well, I will though enjoy knowing that the likelihood of that person actually making a return greater than his investment on the address is 5/8 of F/A, so nice work pal, thems brains for ya.

next time it is open for sale ill try to get the domain being it expires next year. Ill try to get my friend to replicate thardferr being he is a web programmer.
