Standing on the bank of the river in Trapping Forest, Jereth watches as the psychotic gnome Xxian drifts along the river with the fishermen, headed for Hush. The short crazy man had reminded Jereth of a young wolf kicked too often by a moose, amusing but definately not harmless. Shrugging the giant man turns to take stock of the remaining members of the party: the nervous shortling, the suprisingly brutal elven maiden, the level-headed human with the horse, and the elven ranger. Of course there was the elven shadow, but she had seemed to hold herself aloof and separate, a tag-along and not much more, though she had silenced the initial guards at the enemy encampment nicely.

It wasn't much but so far they'd been more than effective against superior numbers, though it had taken nearly all of the sweetwater he'd kept from the dwarven cavern hunt. With a fanged grin he considers how much more fighting they would have before them, "More shortlings to find."

Myrina:

*Looks over at the walking behemoth with a simple nod in agreement with the man.* "Indeed. From the sounds of it there are several more camps worth of them as well. Hopefully we will get lucky and find the main camp this time. Although if we do, i believe we are going to need a better strategy than the one we used last time."

Watching Xxian float down the river once more, the ranger silently wonders why she bothers to tag around after the stupid gnome, especially when he had the habit of just leaving her hanging. But sadly, she knew that it wouldn't be long and she'd be on her way to Hush as well, after all, leaving Xxian in Hush by himself wasn't a good idea, especially not after last time.

Hearing Jereth speak, Paks gently strokes Clyde on the neck as she nods in agreement with the giant mans words, "Aye, more shortlings to find and more battles to fight" she says, even though secretly she knows she won't be part of them.

Glancing at Myrina, the ranger speaks "Perhaps it would be worth trying to find some of the Lithian army and taking them with you for the next fight, it wouldn't hurt to have some backup"

Myrina:

*Nods in agreement with paks.* "If we can find them it would deffinatley be worth it. It would be very nice to have the numbers on our side for once. Though i guess we'll do what we can, here's hoping we can find them, but if we can't we'll just have to make due with what we have again."

The ranger nods at Myrina's words and looks back down the river again. She's silent for a minute or two, deep in thought. Snapping out of it, she looks back to Myrina, "I think perhaps it would be wise if you were to seek out the army first. I can't stay with you to finish this, though I would dearly like to, I first promised Xxian to help him. I don't like leaving you all short, I am really sorry for it but unfortunately it can't be helped."

Myrina:

*Looks over at paks with a simple nod.* "Sounds like we will deffinatley need to seek out some more help then. Truly a pity to see you leave, but you have to do what you  have to do." *She tilts her head to the side a moment and nods to the ranger.* "Hope i didn't disgrace your friends name."

Smiling at the elf, the ranger gives Clyde a pat on the neck before replying, "I highly doubt you would be capable of disgracing anyone Myrina. Do you happen to remember what the queen said about the army? My mind seems to have gone blank and I can't remember if she mentioned whether or not they might be stationed somewhere."

Myrina:

*Looks over at a nearby tree and takes a few steps over to it and leans against it.* "I wasn't contracted for this, but as a body guard originally. So i don't know what it is the queen said about the army. I actually knew very little about this when we joined, i guess it was felt that i didnt need to know. Not to sound overly greedy but between you and i, hopefully i'll get something out of this. Other than the good feeling for helping out the halflings." *The last she says with a wink.*

The ranger returns the smile, "Well, a dukedom and land was offered as a reward. Seeing as I won't be around to collect on that, you can have what could have been mine, and Xxian's for that matter, that'll teach the gnome for just wondering off" she says with an almost vindictive laugh.

Myrina:

*Looks over at the ranger intrigued by what she has offered.* "Indeed, you would forfeit that to me? It would be most appreciated, I had hoped for such things ne'er would i have expected to be able to receive them from this."

"Absolutely, you're more than welcome to them. Perhaps I'll come visit you some time" Paks replies with a sincere smile. "If you're ever in Tuth, come by Lesserd Forest and stay with me for a bit, I'll show you around my neck of the woods. But for now, I best be gnome chasing. It's been a pleasure working with Myrina, Jereth, Katherina and Alun, I hope we meet again some day" she says, offering a wave as she heads off down river.

Idly scratching an itchy new scar, the feral warrior watches the two females yammer on and on until the human with the horse moves off. Snuffling the air as Paks moves away, "She is going?"

He had never needed much for the pressence of man-creatures, but oddly he was displeased to see the level-headed woman leave. And now with more violence to be in their future they were minus the skills both she and her psychotic gnome friend had brought to the group.

"We Hunt now, we Hunt smart, too few to Hunt fast."

The giant glances at his remaining companions, concerned about their ability to cope with the dangers ahead still.

Myrina:

*Watches sadly as the woman leaves, heading off down the river to keep the overly troublesome gnome out of trouble. She simply nods to the woman, thinking about saying something but decides to let it go. Raising a hand she waves to the woman.* "Fare thee well, 'til we meet again ranger."

Allowing only a moment to watch Paks move upstream after her companion, Jereth turns back to the reamaing adventurers turned liberation artists. "You and you," he says bruqeuesly pointing to Myrina and Katherina, "No closer to them than you can smell them," he then points to Alun (and any others still with us) "You and me, no closer than seeing. Find enemies, find Army, aim Army."

Fully cognizant of the fact that he would most likely be ignored, the muscled enigma peers intently at each remaining party-member...

Myrina:

*Looks over to the man as he starts pointing at the various members. Turning she looks to kat, then back over to jereth, then back to kat, then back over to jereth one last time.* "What?"
