Watching  the other adventurers set up for a lightless camp in almost certainly hostile territory, Jereth watches the others and what preparations they take, or even to see if they knew they could become the hunted at any moment. Stepping under a thick cluster of trees, the man takes one more moment waiting until no eye is turned his way and with a unnervingly graceful and quick movement, pulls himself up and out of view with only a slight rustle of the thick bough he'd chosen. Waiting for some minutes he begins to move along the network of intertwined limbs, his movements not silent but in no way as clumsy or blind as a huge warrior should be. After a fair amount of time, his limited stealth at a cost of alacrity, his hushed growling voice can be heard somewhere above the others, "Tomorrow... fun."

Myrina:

*Glances over from the branch of the tree she is resting upon. Undoubtedly a different tree than the one the man picked, as she would require one with a much lower branch than the man who towers over her.* "Interesting for sure. What i've gleaned of you though, yes i would suspect you would enjoy it."

Paks tends to Clyde, showing her youngster Halfling all that she does. Once she has Clyde settled, she tends to the Halfling, grabbing some food from her pack and handing it over, the little one munching away whilst he looks around for his brother. The ranger checks that all her weapons are in good working order before rolling out her blanket to settle for the night.

"So what are we meant to do with all the Halflings once we have freed them?" she asks, speaking to any in the camp that are listening.

Katherina sits  facing out toward the direction of the bandits,  Sitting under a tree so her eyes can adjust to see in the dark.  She turns her face slightly in the direction of Paks to answer her question. "Well first we must get to that stage.  We can pick up any small weapons we come across and hand them out to those who can wield them,  do sort of a column back in the direction of civilization."  She goes back to watching the darkness,  getting up every few minutes and moving to another spot to watch.

"Get as much rest as you can,  Either we won't or can't stop till they are safely under the protection of the army." she says at a whisper.  Remembering when she had her own little spot in the forest to sleep, watching the baby animals grow, mature, find mates then repeat the process over again.  She starts humming to herself barely audible over the rustling of the leaves and the night sounds of the wilderness.

Alun lays back grimly against the trunk of tree watching his new companions settle down for the night and hoping that his fellow halflings have come to no harm.
Hearing Pak's question, he ventures "We are nothing if not resilient and resourceful. I trust those captured will have the strength to follow us back to what was their homes and they can rebuild them anew."
He sighs anxiously and looks warily into the  darkness of night that begins to surround him and the others.

Tucking her little one in (it's pretty sad, I can't remember the little ones name, hopefully alex will Wink ) , the ranger pulls out a mother of pearl shell comb and begins to run it through her hair.

"Do you think we'll ever see this army? There hasn't been any evidence of them yet" she says as she looks out into the ever darkening valley. "I guess we'll just have to hope the halflings haven't been too mistreated, here we are assuming they'll be able to just get up and walk away" she says quietly.

Myrina: (Rory and Coran i believe, if i read the TT right anyway Smiley )

*Looks over at which ever of the small children she's been taking care of and pats him kindly on the head and winks at him. Wrapping him up in her arms under the blanket from the safety of the tree she intends on sleeping in.* "We should find your parents tomorrow. I bet you will be glad to see them again huh?" *She smiles kindly at the little boy as he nods vigorously at that thought. Her eyes trail over to the grown members of the group though, hoping that the boys parents are atleast alive.*

"Shortlings important? Protect?" the hushed growling, again somewhere above the conversation, rumbles quietly.

Even as he spoke, the giant looks down at the elf Myrrna, or at least thats as close as he'd pronounced it yet, silently answering his assesment of him, oO All other time is anticipation of action Oo.

No answer forthcoming, the silent giant makes his way again through the tree tops, his still audible movements blending in well with the sounds of nature, as if he was the exception to mankind, that he belonged there.

After an hour of manuevering away from the camp, Jereth slips into the shadows of a tree trunk his feet touching ground again for the first time this night. Taking stock of his surroundings and sniffing the night air warily, the primal-man makes his way towards the cave of the bandits, intent on seeing whether their mysterious elven scout was trustworthy or at the very least up to the challenge. Night-black scales of a naga mask his movements in the dim forest light as he makes his way by more feel and smell than sight, marking him as beyond the human norm.

Myrina:

*Looks down at the small gnomish child wrapped up with her before gazing out into the nights sky. Horrors creep into her mind before long, thoughts of the poor childrens parents not surviving their entrapment. As soon as the thoughts cross her mind though plans begin formulating. She could find some one else to take care of the boys, people prefered sons to daughters anyway, and these were almost old enough to start working on the farm, minimal work for boys soon capable of pulling their own weight.*

"Let us hope that simply isn't the case though..." *She says as she returns her gaze upon the boy, shaking the images from her head she looks about camp.* "Some day tomorrow, i suppose if capable we should keep a few of them alive so we can inter... question them about any monstrosities causing the halflings trouble."

The ranger lays back on her blanket, her charge safely asleep beside her. She vaguely hears Jereth's question reguarding the Halflings and when no one answers the giant man, she directs her reply to the treetops.

"Yes Jereth, the shortlings are important, very important. It's our job to keep them safe so we definately need to protect them, at all costs. Kill as many baddies as you like, but as Myrina suggests, try to keep one or two for questioning, if you can."
