Forum Calendar

I have added a calendar to the forum for DM's to post their game times / days.  I hope this will allow new members to find a game that suits them a little easier.

All forum members may add events to the calendar, an event does not necessarily need to be related to Thardferr, but no RPG's outside of Thardferr may be advertised here.

When adding an event to the calendar, it will prompt you to "Link Event To Post"  If this box is checked, it will automatically start a thread in the Calendar Events Forum (here).  If you do not want to put any further information regarding the calendar event, uncheck the box before submitting.

If you do link to a post, members (or guests) viewing the calendar will be able to click an event entry and be directed straight to the post explaining it.

love the concept.. so do we have to post for every week for example?  my sunday game do I post the event once on a sunday and then it reaccurs or do I have to repost it for every sunday?

Mod just applied, now allowing repeating events.  Also now forces post linked to event to be in the 'Calendar Events Forum' not user specified.

hmm checked it out, and the reoccuring mod only allows yo uto post reaccuring events upto 4 days, not like once a week...  wierd.

if you have a game every Monday - create the event on a Monday then in the 'repeating' area select: repeat - every - week (2nd repeat option)

The only combination not possible is every 5th or 6th day/week/month/year.

How can you edit events?

For some reason a "\" was added when I put in '.

That must happen when you have a ' in the title Feff - like at OpenRPG when you are creating a room - I know there is a way around it, cant remember it for now though.  I'll look into it.

Polly, your Sunday session seems to be listed every Saturday - is it auto converting for my time zone, or is that something else you should wait till you wake up before you do   

edit: It cant be adjusting for my time zone - I am ahead of you, it would show on Mondays for me if it did that.

Haha, I just found out how to edit calendar entries, only to find you've already done it.
