Depending on the time you plan to hold sessions I could become active again. It would just involve some availability tampering at work, which is fine by me because I need to tamper with it some anyways. If I recall correctly I retired Lokar in favor of starting a lower level character for a group feff was puting together that kinda fell through. So I have a little gobo I could play, or if it were allowed I could bring lokar out of retirement since I only got to play the little gobo a few sessions anyways :-p

It also just occured to me, that if you're looking for first level pcs I could always try the flame warrior concept I had worked on at one point but never finished (Teldir, there is a description of him in the character spotlights, but I never did finish working on the history.. yet)

Actually at this stage, Im just curious to what the pc base looks like.  When it gets time for recruitment we can talk about which player you would like to play.

I plan on going with 3.5 actually.  No one has ventured that way, and I think with atleast one 3.5 group going that it might bring more dm's and pc's into the thardferr fold.  I have a ton of 3.5 play experiance, and a ton of old school dm experiance.  So no reason why not to expand.

It will be good to get that first 3.5 DM, that way when people come this way, they can see we are running both editions and that we aren't turning people away from good RP just because of system limitations.

Indeed, and who better than an old vet to make that first leap? Smiley.

3.5 finally...ooo.  I do a little happy dance.  Maybe I actually do more than just post my opinion while never actually playing.  You *might* put me down as a DM less sorta player...of course nights and stuff are important...as Friday I DM our fleshy campaign.

So keep me informed...

Sunday would be a good night for me. Also I was part of the  3.0 playtest back before Couyon randomly ended his player slaughtering..er disapeared, so I have a bit of expierence there. I also own al the 3.5 core material and love writing homebrew stuff, so if I did play a specialty priest I could probably try and conjure something up and submit it for aproval, could do the same for anyone else too of course.
