Thardferr d20 or 3.5

To play an Orc or Goblin ... You need to use the stats from the Monster Manual for 3.5.   It is a bit different than 2e, but fits 3.5 just fine.

Orcs get +4 Str / -2 Int; Wis; & Cha
Base speed is 30'
Darkvision 60'
Light Sensitivity - dazzled in Bright sunlight or in radius of a Daylight spell

Goblins get -2 Str / +2 Dex / -2 Cha
Small size = +1 AC / +1 to attacks / +4 Hide bonus / -4 grapple / and lifting and carrying limits are 3/4 human norms
Base speed is 30'
Darkvision 60'
+4 bonus to Move Silently and Ride skills

These are the main ones that effect play.   There are Languages and Favored class stuff too.

I haven't got time to read back through all the posts, but remember there is a 2e to 3.5e converter on the wizards website that may help with the run-of-the-mill stuff.

Hmm i was just at one of the thousands of 3.5 dnd games i have lurked in and thought maybe thardferr head people really need to have a view of what i seen.

I see the same stuff game in and game out i venture to lurk in, I don't really get the style of gaming they do but here is what 3.5 dnd gamers will expect in a 3.5 dnd game they join.

This is the kinda stuff that turned me off of 3.5 dnd(still looks like 3rd to me).

Maybe you all can make more sense of this then me.

You'll find stuff like that all the time online. It's the same for any game, regardless of the system. Gathis runs 3.5 just fine; go lurk in on one of thier games. 8)
