Oh where? IM thinking possibly Northern Cali somewhere or even out in Utah or something.... Maybe someone can FINALLY teach me how to fish, ive wanted to do it a long time...anyway.. Just checking in..hope someone has some ideas on where to go..BUt ahh... I guess it would help if a DM was interersted in whippin up a story?

The west coast is pretty far, considering I live on the east coast.  But since I'm graduating this year I have no idea if I'd be able to go or not.  Maybe I'll have a job, maybe I'll be living on the street somewhere, who knows.

My family lives in Northern California, in Shasta Lake City.  I haven't been there yet, but my mom tells me its a very pretty area.

If I can make it and if no other DM will step-up; I would pick-up the DM mantle again to run a game. Ready for another road trip Mnuxim? :)

Bah, why not choose a place in the central US? :)  Equidistant from both coasts? :)  We could go to Dakota... what's the place with the biker rally every year?    We could be geeks, amongst thousands of bikers. :)  now that would be entertaining.

I hate to correct you, but there is no such place as "Dakota."  There is North Dakota and South Dakota.  While being two very distinctly different states, they really should have been created in a more practical fashion called West Dakota and East Dakota, due in part to their vastly different western and eastern regions.  Eastern North and South Dakota is primarily farmland and are the more populated areas (as populated as you get in these two states.  Western North and South Dakota are more desolate, deserted, ranching lands.

Sturgis is the biker rally held in South Dakota, located near to Mt. Rushmore in the southwestern corner of South Dakota.  In addition to Mt. Rushmore and the bikers, there is also a large casino in that area at Deadwood, SD.

See, plenty to do up in the "Dakotas," as everyone in national news always refers to this region.

Well, uh...

There's the geographic center of North America...
The largest set of buffalo balls in the world...
The return of the White buffalo...

Uh...
And sometime in July, in Grand Forks, they have a fishing tournament called Catfish Days (for Adri's fishing desire Smiley ).

Other than that, there really isn't much to do in North Dakota other than work, drink, sleep, drink, work, and goto school. Sad

Like before I dont know how much Ill be able to put forth, although they are giving me full time hours now, I still got school loans to pay off. ANd of course..there is the cost of a trip there and back

OK.. date is set, although if anyoen wants longer it sall good.

July 21-the 25th, its a thurs-mon. I would have chosen the last week of July, but I got abig brithday celebratiopn fo rmy sis, and bro since thier bdays are the 27th and 31st.

ANd I got a couple good places Ive called in South dakota. So maybe that will be a little more central, though north for people? Let me know who can/wants to attend, so I can figure amounts and such for a place. THanks
