We have a DM from Gathis willing to also hold a geekfest at his place. BUt he is around Halifax. IN Canada. He also says he is lookin into next year sometime when he gets more freetime. Just thought we should hold that option open.

You know, you could always take that listing of Thardferr players that was provided a while back and calculate a spot for the Geekfest which is more likely to get people to show. :)

I notice that we have tended to throw the Geekfests in the Western part of the US, but looking at that map, the majority of Thardferrians are on the East Cost.  Makes me wonder if we shouldn't shoot for some gathering there. :)

GO check out the eastcoast thread... Its way back.. a bunch of east coasters were trying to plan something but i guess things fell through... Besides... I noticed when it comes to geekfest  I know there are people all over, so its hard to  guestimate where things will be. I tried to get a place more central located, so one person isnt paying for and travelling too much further than another. S dakota was upper but middle of nowhere, so east and west had to travel a bit, AND was closer to the canada border for those up north. *shrugs* Just trying to get everyone involved Nyr *wink*
 I just wanna try to find places that are interesting and not be stuck in a hotel for a week with a bunch of geeks without anywhere to go. *chuckles* Vegas at least had some distractions,a nd teh cabin was fun.. even the house we rented by the beach. Im SURE there are things out east too, I just havent checked em out cuz I dont know stuff on the east as well as west is all.

The event with the empress was originally going to be for the east coast geekfest.  That's why parts of it seemed to revolve around certain PCs more than others, those people were the ones originally going to attend before things got crazy and we just did it online.

So how does that explain Orion, my tutor basically, being there?  I refuse to attend anything that has Nyr and/or the Bard present.  Am I am THAT cool to still be included in the plot?  8)

well at least we have some time now for someone(s) to think of a good story for us for the geekfest of whenever. It could be tied into the current events (whatever the events will be when geefkest comes around)or be stricktly Geekfest related and not brought back to Thardferr.
