OOC: Wall of Fog isn't an illusion, so it's impossible to see through even with a True Seeing spell, however, it's only 1st level. A nice Gust of Wind, or a couple of turns and it'll dissipate.   By the way, aren't we all silenced after we went into the room?  So can we hear anyone say anything is my question to the DM's.

Damian is quite content to ignore Gibreel's words and instead, lingers overhead in his reduced form working on tracking individuals through their disturbance of his fog.

. o O (*Mental Snort* He spends the last three or four months off running around the deserts and trying to avoid this war whilst I was neck deep in it and he thinks I'm going to bother to listen to him? For now, without the amulet, everyone can be killed with only a few spells if need be, so suck it up Gibreel, I'm doing something more important than you are barking orders. I'm hiding them from the Empress's direct vision and her glamour and I'm the only defense they have against incoming magic with my staff, thanks to Liriel's corruption.)

Keeping his focus, he is content to wait for the time being to see how things play out, knowing that without the amulet, any offensive front presented by him would be ultimately doomed to failure. So, why not be defensive and wait for the opportunity to obtain the amulet and then turn the tide.

OOC: Again, mental thought bubble, just a little flavor since nobody can know what I'm thinking ICly. :)   But OOCly, enjoy.

(The Wall of fog is between us and the front of the room, not around us correct?)

(Could you give us a heads up on your placement of the fog, as well as its dimensions Nyr?)

OOC: Well, the room was described as 50 yards by 25 yards.  Or roughly, 150 feet by 75 feet. The wall of fog I summoned has a 20' cubic foot base, and 120' cubic foot addition to it.

The room has an area of 11250 feet, and my spell covers at least 14400 feet of an area from the 120' cube alone. That's discounting the the height of the fog cloud, which is again, 120', so I'd naturally reduce that down if needed to the 10' minimum described in the spell. Filling the whole of the chamber for the time being. Since it's a short lived spell relatively, I'm content to allow people ample time to get into the chamber and spread out to avoid immediate attacks.

So, room filled, top to bottom. :)

(Alrighty, I can dig it.  I'd like to do a fast forward until the fog dissipates.  Unless you want to interact with the Empress in some way, please state your actions and plans for the duration of the fog.

If you wish to interact with the Empress during this time, feel free to do so, keeping in mind the fact that it is quite foggy Smiley)

OOC: I've got a plan, yes, I do....   Pretty Nyrgol, wants his precious....    LOL...   Umm, I'm just going to hover here and set my staff on hoover mode.  After all, I'm just a flunky... the only one who knows what's supposed to happen, isn't sharing information, so I suppose we wait on the NPC's... Rithas, Lasa, Amies, etc....

Liriel tries to peer through the fog, her mind taking in the spoken words of those about her.  Broadcasting her thoughts to all in the link, she says simply .oO(She has to see the arch.  That's what's supposed to show her the lie.  That's what the prophecy said, remember Gibreel?  Get it where she can see it)Oo.

Her voice rings out through the fog "You've been told a lie.  Your emperor isn't with Diadra, she can't give him back to you, but we can.  I've seen him and the arch can show you too."  Dredging through her memories of what she was told, she adds "I think it will take you to him if you use it.  Look at it, at least."

"Lasa said you attack us because Diadra told you she'd give him back to you if you defeat us, but she doesn't have him to give.  Look at it and see."

(Err.. waiting on the NPCs will mean more waiting for everyone involved.  The NPCs have nothing to do with how this will be resolved, except perhaps for being used as a tool.  There are many ways to resolve it at this point, and all of them requires the actions of Players, not NPCs.  Rithas is out of the equation.  Lasa was never part of it, and Amies, while playing a part in the destruction of the Empress, will have nothing to do with her defeat.  Feel free to continue to speculate, but don't rely on the NPCs to finish this thing, because its in the hands of the PCs, as it has been from the beginning).
