Empress' Domicile

[Dalan]

The battle against Rithas continues for quite some time, as Rithas continues to be resistant against magical attacks as well as difficult to subdue.  All the while, he continues to remain quiet, not speaking a word.  As some people attack him and others try to sbdue him, it is quickly apparent that some sort of plan is needed for everyone to be successful against him.

Multiple warriors encircle him and attempt to subdue him repeatedly.  As he continues to violently fight back, The warriors pounce on him, trying to bring him to the ground, while the wizards and clerics try to distract him with their spells.

Eventually, after many cuts bruises, and a few serious wounds, they manage to bring him down, and pin him.  Some rope is brought forward and you all now stand around him, ready to act.

[Robillard]

Robillard steps forward and begins giving orders.  He's well aware that some in the group might not like being bossed around, but so long as he gives an order that makes a lot of sense he doubts anyone will argue.

"Take everything off him, tie him up, and throw him in the cells Lasa and I were in.  We can pick him up on our way out since talking doesn't seem to do anything.  Try to get those items off first, Rithas never fought this well before, they must be helping."

[Liriel]

Liriel's voice rings out through the chaos, it's clarity surprising all but a few, and it's sureness and authority surprising all who know her well.  "No.  Tie him for now, but do not take his protections.  We need him."

As several turn to stare at her, she shrinks back slightly, but meets their gazes steadily as she pushes up from where she's leaning against the wall and walks slowly toward the group around the elf.

[Scionist]

*The large orc heeds only the command to tie up their foe.  Taking out some sturdy orcan rope he proceeds to secure Rithas.*

"I don't know who he is or what he means to any of you.  What I do know is that if he manages to escape these ropes it'll be hell for all of us!  We should at least take his weapons from him."

*He does not stop or slow his current task.  He continues to secure the elf while listening and watching for shifting or other movement of Rithas' that should be further restricted.*

[Zee]

*Groans and staggers over next to robi holding several of his larger more gaping wounds he received. He then looks down at rithas as they begin tieing him with the rope and then up at robi. He nods at the mans words that rithas never fought so well before. He then rubs a little blood off his face before putting a hand back down on his stomach.* "Aye - he punched me once before - he hits much harder now. He no doubt has some magical augmentations as your all aware im sure."

[Saphire]

Carrus

 He listens and watches as the others go to work, tapping his chin in contemplation.

 " I agree with Gul, we should remove his weapons and any other item that may be assisting him too much. He was barely subdued, if he gets loose again at full strength...well, I'd hate to see that.  His items can always be returned."

[Robillard]

"Exactly, I don't know what you're planning Liriel but Gul is right.  He's trying to kill us, and we need to take away all of his weapons.  And for all we know ANYTHING he's wearing could be a weapon."

[Liriel]

Liriel nods "Aye, take his weapons and take whatever it is that's making him strong.  But .. "  She pauses for several seconds, then points to the double doors and continues.  "We need to be careful.  Through there, now.  But take him with us."

[Scionist]

*Completing the task of securing the elf he proceeds to strip him of his weapons.  He also removes any and everything except his armor and boots.  He checks for hidden pockest or pouches and makes sure to remove them and places everything he finds in a neat pile for all to inspect.*

"I wasn't sure what could be making him so strong so I took everything off him.  I left him his boots and armor because I have no desire to see him naked.  If it is indeed his armor or boots that give him such strength I guess I'll have to bare the sight of him.*

*A slight smile stretches across his face.*

[Zee]

*Continues to clutch some of his wounds and then looks over at the pile of stuff and then down at rithas.* "If he doesnt break out of the ropes then we know we got his strength enhancing item off."

[Nyrhtlyk the Dark]

Damian's disembodied voice sounds out nearby, likely from somewhere above the others. "If your so worried about him, beat him to within the barest margins of life and then drag him with you. This way, even if he does get free, he's of little concern. As for what he carries, there's no time now to determine what it is and what it does, so best to stash it for now and deal with it later if need be. Let's wrap this up and move on."

[Dalan]

The female Celenian priestess, quickly goes over to Orion's lifeless body and begins chanting, then quickly touches his corpse.  A couple seconds pass, and then his wounds slowly heal, and he opens his eyes.  You can tell he is very weak, but he is alive.

[Jelani]

Jan'doire has remained in the relative background during the intial fight with Rithas, though he watches the goings-on carefully.  He winces as he sees Orion, his Mourning Wolf commander, fall but he remains in the background.

oO (My death will prove nothing and can't bring him back.) Oo

As the others subdue the powerful and magically enhanced elf, he rushes to Orion's side.  He directs Tolin on who needs healing and then calls for the Celenian priestess, dreading her miracle.

After she has worked her skills and Orion's life has been sparked once again, he let's out a sigh of relief.  Kneeling at his side, he drops his bow and places a comforting hand on his shoulder.  Knowing he can't receive any response, he says simply, "Rest easy, friend."

[Saphire]

Carrus

  He begins to slowly pace around the others restraining Rithas, his eyes looking around taking everyone in.

  "I doubt we need to be that extreme, though a sleep spell might be handier than bludgeoning him to unconsciousness. In the meantime the wounded should be tended to before we go on any further."

OOC reminder: During the last sessoin and  final Rithas attacks, Xxian and Thragnar wee also both dropped. Dinmet saved Thragnar, raising his negative hit poits to at least within unconscious level (I believe -3) in the round he would have died. Xxian lay bleeding to death. He was at -4 when Tolin finaly reached him. No spells were cast, only a healing roll to stop the bleeding.) Dinmet and Xxian had no more healing spells. This leaves you two unconscious companions, I remember, after Orion is raised.
