Well, than we can do it for fun.  But I would really prefer to see a thread working through what we do as far as searching his body, then taking out the Empress with the gate thing.

Who knows, I might be out of line here.  But we have been going through this 2 day session for over two weeks now.  So the sooner I can get my stuff together the better.

I do have a problem with it because I need to figure out what spells will be expended, and there are some IC interactions that needed to be said/talked about and insights given, at least in my own opinion.

If you don't want to be a part of it, feel free to not participate.

Well, I won't have a whole lot of time these next few days so it might be best for me to simply have Dalan describe things and we can go from there.

Are there any PCs waiting to see how this finishes with their current group?  Kluu's group is behind the timeline so we have plenty of time to figure this out, but if anyone needs to get moving then skipping this stuff might be best.

I guess whatever suits Dalan is fine with me.  I can roll either way.

Also, Rithas doesn't necessarily have to die.  If you guys attempt to overbear him, etc, you could successfully bring him down.  He has 6 rounds of attacks regardless though.

Hmm... not killing Rithas would be good.

Overbearing Eh? :)  We had what?  7 People attempting that?  So, the roll is based upon the weakest link attempting, with +1 per person trying? :)  So let's see...

Gul-Shad
Thragnar
Grumash
Krystal
Zee

Who else?  Since we will need to know who all was involved and who had the lowest attack to see about the overbearing roll. :)

No, not necessarily.  IC'ly all those people aren't attacking at the same time.

Well, the DMG allows for up to 6 people of equal size to attack a single target.

If Parrying is allowed, all approaching Rithas would gain 1/2 their level added to their AC, except for warriors who would gain 1/2 their level + 1 added to their AC.  This way, they can wait him out, gain the improved numbers and coordinate an assault.   After all, why not?  This way, the guy in the very back gets the +2 bonus for a rear attack and can ignore the defender's dexterity bonus.

Not to mention, once everyone is there, it can turn into a big dogpile. :)  Someone yell the command, and we can have some orcs leap on top of the pile. :)  LOL

Would we be better off trying to schedule another session to play this out?  I mean, it kinda seems to me that what we FF didn't really matter if we are going to be playing the specifics out now anyway...so should we try to schedule another time to meet to get this all worked out?

I am assuming there will be another fight/conflict, otherwise deciding what spells we all have left is really a moot point.  I am simply suggesting working this out together rather than the disjointed stuff that can happen on the boards...the thread hasn't been real active yet anyway.

Thoughts?

Personally I'd rather just forget the IC stuff and dock people some spells than try to play out the Rithas combat bit again.

I don't really know what to do about the Empress thing.  Should we play it out on the boards or schedule another session?  After all the last one went way over schedule.

Alright, I give up then.  Forget the IC thing with Rithas.  It sounds like you guys want to overbear him.  Thats fine.

If you want to do IC action (question Rithas, etc) feel free to do it on the boards.  You can start when he is tied up.

If you planned on using some spells during the battle, please remove them from your char's sheet.  I'll trust it on the honor system.

So you guys argue about the magical items OOC if you want.  Majority rules I suppose, and if it comes down to a IC fight, I'll adjucate it sometime.  OOC you will all know about all the items, so ther will be no "stealing" of items during or after the battle.

ring of invis (no command word)
ring of evasion (command word)

As for the confrontation with the Empress, what do you guys want to do?

Frankly whatever works best for the DM's.  It might be faster to do it as a session, but faster doesn't always meen better.
