Don't worry we wont let you die in the first round - we're letting the NPCs do that! You can be the first PC to keel over though Smiley.

Hmmm, is it too late to let Group 1 know that Group 2 is going to flee to the high hills?  G'luck with the empress and all, we're taking the gate with us to divide up like the Heart of Edilar. :)   Figure it might be worth a pretty bit of coin.

Okies, I know we stated that we wanted to go ahead and script the ending due to time constraints after 2 weeks and 4 games for some of us.  However, can you give us a timeframe when we might expect to look over that final scripted event?   Or do you need anything from us to help?

Question about the IC Thread that is going on.

We are putting in specifics for what was played out last night, right?  The outcome is basically decided, but we are seeking to fill in the holes, right?

I will be gone tomorrow and won't be back until Sunday night.  If I am needed, Gib can run me.

Are we playing another session?

I ask because we are only playing out what we already went through scripting, and at a round per day that will take 6 days just to get past what we have already scripted--another week to fill in results we already know. Maybe we could just take what happened in the scripting and get the an overview of it? I had assumed we were continuing from the point after we scripted and finishing on the boards, but I seem to be mistaken.

Same here.  I thought we were just going to go over what already happened.  The couple of us charging, Rithas dropping his bow and kicking it, Gibreel blowing the bow up and then the meele combat.

I thought the combat was already done with the scripting and we were going to move past that?

According to what Dalan said last night, the scripting was entirely OOC and since it was really the final battle (as there is not a combat with the Empress in the traditional sense, as I understand it) then just leaving it where we did is kind of anti-climatic.  So, he thought we could play out the combat on the boards, even though we already know the results.

But we could just skip over it and move on, but that's up to Dalan, I imagine.

I have no problem with skipping and moving on.  Playing out the combat when we already know the result is kind of like beating a dead Rithas

Especially since my wife is giving me dirty looks every time I come near the computer

I tend to agree.  Although I would love to play through the combat, if we cannot change anything I do not think we need to worry too much about what specifically happened duirng the course of the combat.

If people want to move onto the post combat and get this wrapped up I am in full support of it.  Especially since I am going home this weekend and my online time will be limited.

I kinda like the idea of beating a dead rithas - i think it owe it to him for all those times he threatened to put this gorgeous head on his trophy wall   .
