In each of the Pantheons,  Law, Chaos, and Neutrality.

1.) You will find 3 good deities, 3 evil deities and 3 neutral deities. ;)
2.) You will find 3 greater powers, 3 intermediate powers, and 3 lesser powers.

Unfortunately, it seems like things have shifted slightly and this pantheon is in need of rebalancing.

Original Balance: Ajoetis, Aqualie, Diadria, Kaldinsky, Loralis, Ostran, Praxin, Thr, Tyre

Current Balance: Aqualie, Celenia, Diadria, Kaldinsky, Loralis, Ostran, Praxin, Thr, Tyre

Looks like Celenia & Ajoetis have been switched out between the Neutral & Chaotic Pantheons.

This creates problems because Celenia is a Good Intermediate, and Ajoetis is an Evil Lesser deity.

So it unbalances the power aspect, as well as the alignment aspect of the various pantheons. :)

First, that actually did not disturb the balance completely.

Currently:

In Law pantheon: 3/3/3 good/neutral/evil
In Neutral pantheon: 3/5/1 good/neutral/evil
In Chaos pantheon: 3/1/5 good/neutral/evil

Switching Celenia and Ajoetis back would merely disrupt things further, making:

Neutral pantheon: 2/5/2
Chaos pantheon: 4/1/4

But, Nyr, it was never completely balanced either. Smiley

Complete balance would be 1 of each combination of each deity in each pantheon.

Even according to what you just posted, it is not balanced:

2 out of 3 Greater powers are neutral (just an example)

Ajoetis: CE

Aqualie: TN

Diadria: LE

Kaldinsky: NG

Loralis: CN

Ostran: TN

Praxin: CN

Thr: NG

Tyre: TN

According to this writeup, Nyr, the original, it's: 2/5/2.

As I recall, individual alignment of a deity didn't necessarily play a large factor in their placement.  I'm still double checking things, but here's just a little snippet I quicky doublechecked. :) For some reason, the Evil Gods are so easy for me to remember. :)

Greater Powers:  Syth, Diadria, Ballog
Intermediate Powers: Garalax, Praxin, Corathal
Lesser Powers: Jandor, Ajoetis, Maldread

Lawful Deities:  Syth, Garalax, Jandor
Neutral Deities: Diadria, Praxin, Ajoetis
Chaotic Deities: Ballog, Corathal, Maldread

So in this instance, all of the evil gods are balanced in the 3 pantheons in terms of Power & Law/Chaos tendencies. Now, bear in mind, this isn't how they are currently setup.  At the moment, Ajoetis has been moved to the Chaotic Pantheon, putting 4 evil deities there and an extra lesser power.

For reference, I used only the original Thardferr Gods Writeup (the one before the current one) and the old godscom boards for how the deities were placed.

Now, I get to check the new website for the deities and see how well each of these survived. :)  and what's different and what's not. :)

*************

Okay, it's official.  :)  The only change, that I can find from this list is Celenia and Ajoetis changing places.   In this instance, it gives the Ballogian Pantheon too many lesser deities and evil deities.   Whilst it gives the Ostran pantheon too many good deities and intermediate deities.

The quick fix is just to transpose these two again, however, I've been told that would be difficult.  Though, it's unclear when they were originally changed in the first place. :)

I agree, it is VERY unclear why they ever were changed... as kluu's gods pages were built directly from the godscom I thought

Actually, there are other changes.

Evil:
Praxin is neutral, not evil.  And is a lesser power, not an intermediate one.

Neutral:
Terrarie is a intermediate power, not a greater one.
Aqualie is a lesser power, not an intermediate one.
Sembral is now in the chaos pantheon, not the neutral pantheon.

Good:
Anthor is now a greater power, not an intermediate one.
Hesneen in some places is listed as a neutral diety, not a good one.
Tyre is a neutral diety, not a good one.

These changes probably occured to account for powers people had developed for various gods.  As it exists now:

There are 9 good, 9 neutral, 9 evil gods.
There are 9 law, 9 neutral, 9 chaotic gods.
There are 9 greater, 9 intermediate, 9 lesser gods.
There are 3 greater, 3 intermediate and 3 lesser gods in each pantheon.
There are 3 greater, 3 intermediate, and 3 lesser gods for good, neutral and evil.
There are 3 greater, 3 intermediate and 3 lesser gods for law, neutral and chaos.

Merely changing Celenia and Ajoetis as it stands would actually cause the chaos pantheon to have one too many intermediate ones and the neutral one to have one too many lesser ones.

Bear in mind, I haven't had a chance to study all the pantheons, but the Lawful Pantheon is horribly balanced as it stands now.   There are 9 total deities, correct.

Greater Powers: Anthor, Kreaon, Syth
Intermediate Powers: Garalax, Mahacto, Terrarie
Lesser Powers: Hesneen, Jandor, Telk

Anyone see the problem here? :)  There are 2 GREATER Powers who are GOOD Aligned.  Where is the GREATER NEUTRAL Power?

Evil Deities: Syth, Garalax, Jandor
Neutral Deities: Mahacto, Terrarie, Telk
Good Deities: Anthor, Kreaon, Hesneen

Once again, please remember that a deities personal alignment doesn't always reflect their placement in the pantheons.  Even though Praxin is more neutral, he's still a member of the 9 evil deities of Kyranath. Several of his allies are evil and he accepts evil worshippers. :)
